A Valentine's Day tea party was enjoyed by a small group of fourth grade students on Valentine's Day. The guests were greeted at the door by Edgewood founder Mrs. Simplot (board member Francie Off.) They presented their calling card and then joined their hostess- a fellow fourth grade student. In addition to crafts, the guests were treated to a
Valentine- themed tea. All the guests felt very grown up and were even brave enough to try hot tea. This tea was given away during a drawing on trick or treat night. The winner chose to use the party for Valentine's Day. A special thank you to Emily Off for assisting during the party.

This local business ditched the typical Christmas party and chose something way more fun—making ravioli from scratch at Edgewood! Instead of the usual dinner out, they rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on cooking class—making fresh ravioli and turning it into a delicious soup. Good food, good company, and a fun way to celebrate the season together.🎄🍲

We went in to remove two chimneys.
The roof: “Surprise!” 🙃
After discovering some rot, we tackled that too—and now everything is repaired and better than ever!
Plus, thanks to the Iowa Falls State Bank Community Challenge, we also have brand-new furnaces and a new water heater.

Thanks to the success of our 2025 Labor Day Car Show, the Iowa Falls Lions Club is able to support several deserving organizations in our community!

Our first organization is Edgewood in Iowa Falls! They received a $750 donation towards their efforts to maintain and update their beautiful facility! Thank you to Lu and Tammy, from the Edgewood Board, for being our Lions program today. Edgewood has a rich history, thank you for sharing with us today!

CONGRATULATIONS to Edgewood, who was awarded the funds from our October giving event!

Edgewood’s participation in the IFSB Dream Big Community Challenge, allowed our 100+ donations to be matched, which boosted their fundraising efforts for their chimney repair project!
