The CWU Thrift Store needs volunteers in the Men's Department specifically to work with the following items: bicycles, computers, electronics, furniture, iPads, iPhones, radio controlled toys and video games.
Choose your own hours and days to work. Call the store for a more detailed description of the department. 641-648-4709.

If your organization prioritises education, food security, health, or recreation, consider applying for assistance from the Church Women United Thrift Store of Iowa Falls. The next grant funding will be in September.

Applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, August 28.

Applications in writing should include details about the organization and the purpose for which the money is requested.

August 17, 2026, is national Thrift Store Day. Many volunteers worked today to get ready for Friday and Saturday, August 21 and 22. See you then!

Yes, the store will be open Friday and Saturday (July 17& 18) for shoppers and volunteers! 10-4 both days
The entrance drive is new with no potholes! Thank you for your patience throughout this week while the work was being done.
Come and shop in the air conditioned building.

The Thrift Store will not be available Wednesday (7/15). Work will be done on the driveway. The store will be closed until Thursday morning.
