Iowa Colony Junior Pioneers is part of the non-profit organization Believe, Incorporated, Inc. Our 6U competed in San Antonio State Champ Year One.

Iowa Colony Junior Pioneers was founded in 2021 by Dr. Donald Brown to meet a need in his local community.

🏈 FREE Youth Football Camp Opportunity! 🏈

ICJP Families and Community Supporters,

We are excited to share a great opportunity for young athletes to attend the Beyond The Basics FREE Youth Football Camp hosted by Brandon & Taylor Copeland.

Brandon Copeland is not only a 10-year NFL veteran, but he has also poured back into our local youth community. Many of our Iowa Colony Junior Pioneers families may remember Coach Copeland from last season, as he volunteered as a coach on our Flag Football level.

This is an outstanding opportunity for young athletes to learn, grow, compete, and be encouraged by leaders who care about youth development on and off the field.

📍 Location: Rice University — Robert L. Waltrip Indoor Training Center

ICJP Jr. Pioneers is looking for 1st-time participants who are ready to join our Sophomore Football level.

We are currently looking for athletes who are:

🏈 Age 10 as of September 1
🏈 Entering 4th grade as of September 1
🏈 1st-Time Pioneers
🏈 New to the League

Participants who are 9 years old as of September 1 are also eligible for this opportunity.

We currently have only 7 spots available with our End of School Year Summer Special:

🎣 FREE EVENT: Fishing with Kids & Parents

Donald Brown Developmental League is hosting a free community fishing event designed to help kids and parents/guardians connect, learn, and create meaningful memories together.

📅 Sunday, June 7
⏰ 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 4003 Meridiana Parkway, Iowa Colony, TX 77583

Please bring your own fishing rod and reel. We will help supply the bait.

Registration and waiver are required for all adults and participants.

I Dr. Donald Brown, had the privilege of coaching alongside Coach Copeland, and it is powerful to see the impact he continues to make in the communities he serves. His commitment to youth, leadership, mentorship, and development continues to open doors for the next generation.

Coach Copeland and Beyond The Basics are hosting a FREE Youth Football Camp for ages 11 to 17 at Rice University on Saturday, June 13th.

Camp runs from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Lunch will be provided
