Nile, it was a privilege to have you as a part of the Micah Hyde Charity Golf Classic these past two years.

From the course to the memories we made, you brought something special to everyone around you. You touched the hearts of our players, students, staff, and everyone in our community who had the chance to know you. We are so grateful for the time we shared and honored to have called you one of our kid captains.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Kron family during this unimaginable time. Rest in peace, Nile. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The 2nd Annual Micah Hyde Charity Golf Classic brought together 40+ current and former Hawkeyes, 37 foursomes, and 23 sponsors for one unforgettable day at Pleasant Valley Golf Course — raising $75,000 for the Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

AJ Epenesa. Defensive End. 2017–2019. NFL Pro.
Eric Epenesa. Linebacker. 2021–2024.
Iose Epenesa. Defensive End. 2025–Present.

The Epenesa name has been synonymous with Iowa football for nearly a decade. Now all three are on the course at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City.
