Board members from the Johnson County Farm Bureau attended the 38th Annual Celebration of Agriculture on March 25th, joining agricultural leaders and supporters from across the state to recognize the importance of agriculture in Iowa communities. A highlight of the event was keynote speaker Craig Culver, co-founder and chairman of the board of Culver’s. Known for building a nationally loved brand while staying grounded in community values, Culver shared his story and emphasized the connection between agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community support. Board members noted that Culver’s message highlighted the important role agriculture plays not only in the economy but also in shaping strong, connected communities. His remarks reflected a deep appreciation for the people behind agriculture and the values that continue to drive the industry forward. The event provided an opportunity for Johnson County Farm Bureau board members to connect with others in agriculture, gain new perspectives, and celebrate the ongoing impact of the industry. The annual Celebration of Agriculture continues to bring together individuals dedicated to supporting and advancing agriculture, making it a meaningful experience for those in attendance.

🌽🚜 Happy Iowa Ag Week!

This week we celebrate the farmers, educators, students, and communities that make Iowa a leader in agriculture. From the crops growing in our fields to the food on our tables, agriculture plays a vital role in our everyday lives.

Organizations like the Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation work year-round to help students understand where their food comes from and the impact agriculture has on our state. Iowa Ag Week is the perfect time to recognize the people and programs that keep Iowa growing. 🌱

Join us in celebrating the hard work, innovation, and dedication that make agriculture such an important part of Iowa’s story!
