PlanetRecapture A grassroots movement to bring kids into nature, learn about water quality, clean up and collect rec Then, kids divide into small groups and test water quality.

Here’s how a PlanetRecapture event can work at your school or in your group: First we clean up trash for about 30 minutes and recycle, redeem, and reuse whatever we can. In Iowa, we use the Iowa DNR’s IOWATER Program testing kits, and upload all the data collected to the IOWATER database. (Other states' Department of Natural Resources, or other programs or academic institutions, have testing progr

ams you can contact.) Afterward, we play Capture the Flag, and have a party with food donated by local sponsors!
