One of over 500 student organizations at the University of Iowa that distinguishes itself from others by focusing on citizenship, leadership, and communication all while serving the community and University of Iowa. Throughout the year, the organization strives to follow the national motto: Continuing to Serve, Serving to Continue. Following this motto, the organization gives back to the community
through different community service projects like Valentines for Vets, tie blankets for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, door decorations for a nursing home, and decorating small pumpkins for the Children's Hospital. Future leaders are built through projects such as the Hoe-Down Throwdown and collaborations with the Johnson County 4-H Extension Office. Meetings are held once per month and include citizenship opportunities. Other opportunities are available through the collaboration of Johnson County 4-H and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
