Since Carter’s diagnosis with ALL in 2004, his family has been an active part of the Dance Marathon community. For 21 years, they’ve continued attending the Big Event and forming meaningful connections with DM alumni across generations. 💚

Alumni Spotlight Kickoff

Meet Holly Smith
A dedicated Dance Marathon alum whose five years of involvement included leadership roles and a meaningful DMM experience that sparked her love for running. After completing her first marathon as a DMM runner, Holly went on to run four more marathons — all inspired by the mission.

💛 Alumni giving still matters because DM’s impact continues far beyond graduation.
