It was another great tour at the University of Iowa's new Medical Center in North Liberty! Our group got a behind-the-scenes tour of the Forevergreen Central Utility Plant, or "FCUP" as it's become known.

Our tour hosts included the Site Director, Construction Manager (JE Dunn), and the Operations and Maintenance Contractor for the FCUP, LB&B.

Our chapter had a great afternoon seeing the ins and outs of the incredible Driving Safety Institute facility, and we want to give a special thanks to Omar for the amazing tour!

We have some exciting meetings coming up this Spring!

First up on March 26th is "The Successful Transition for Facility Management from a Construction Project," Presented by Namho Cho! 👷‍♂️

Finally, on May 21st, we will be touring the UIHC North Liberty Campus' Central Utility Plant! 🏥

Join us Thursday, March 26th at 4 pm for "The Successful Transition for Facility Management from a Construction Project" presented by Namho Cho!

This presentation will cover every aspect of a construction project and will be informative for everyone, regardless of their position in the construction process.

We will meet at the University Services Building, and make sure to arrive early, as parking can be a little tricky! Then, join us at Big Grove Iowa City afterwards for our Networking Social!
