Ahhh. Almost time for Spring cleaning. But before you throw out your old stuff, can you make something new out of it? Join us Thursday, March 23rd, for an evening all about reducing, reusing, and recycling. We’ll screen the film Racing to Zero, which covers San Francisco’s goal of achieving zero waste by 2020. Jen Jordan of the Iowa City Landfill and Recycling Center will tell us about all the exciting new waste reduction and recycling initiatives going on in Iowa City. Plus, you’ll get to try your hand at upcycling during our mini workshop. Be a cool cat. Reduce, reuse, and recycle!
