The Sankofa Outreach Connection

I know many are looking for a way to share some kindness in this world today. We’ve struggled as an organization of women of color to receive grants, funding and donations. Anything helps! Thank you!

The important work that The Sankofa Outreach Connection does continues to attract amazing women of color interested in making a positive impact within our community, in their own ways.

We’d like to welcome to the team, Simone Garza!

Simone is a recent University of Iowa undergraduate with a Bachelors in Mass Communication & Journalism.

She’s excited to continue creating lifelong connections as an extra set of hands on our team and believes in EQUITY and COMMUNITY for ALL Black and Brown Women.

Simone has a passion for music, FASHION, and art.

When she’s not working, Simone likes to unwind by creating an acrylic piece of art, reading, singing, or cooking her heart away.

✨Be on the lookout for additional post and content that will begin showing up from her!
