Thank you to everyone who came out to support our IASDA x SNDA 5K for Oral Cancer Awareness 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Because of you, we raised nearly $1,000 for the Oral Cancer Foundation!

Shoutout to our race winner, Grant Zimmerman, our raffle winners, and the D2 class for bringing in the most registrations 👏

We are very grateful for a day that not only raised funds, but reinforced how vital oral cancer awareness and early detection are. As Oral Cancer Awareness Month continues, let’s keep the momentum going!!!!

This week is ASDA’s inaugural Legislative Action Week (LAW). The purpose of this week is for members to advocate for issues impacting dental students. Students are encouraged to use our new ASDA Action site to message their legislators about bills relating to student debt, fluoride, and access to care. Join us in the 1st floor link Tuesday and Thursday over lunch to get a sweet treat and write a letter about these important issues.
Each district is Compete with other districts to send the most letters and recruit the most advocates – be sure to check Instagram throughout the week to see the latest standings. Happy LAW!
