Dream City inspires and empowers communities by building meaningful connections through advocacy, arts, community development, small business growth, and wellness. Each Dream City Connection Academy is strategically developed to address a community need falling within one of four specific program areas: Family, Youth Leadership, Health & Wellness, and Performing & Fine Arts. Through the delivery o

f these services, we work to:

• Provide our clients with the social and educational supports needed to strengthen families

• Provide our clients with the social and educational supports needed in order to excel in school and work

• Provide our clients with a positive, nurturing environment that encourages leadership, community involvement and personal responsibility

• Collaborate with other community organizations to strengthen our services and ensure our clients are receiving the supports they need in order to succeed

Coming from a person who was mentored from Frederick himself, being in Dream City programming since the age of 10, being mentored, getting sent off to college, and coming back and having an opportunity to lead youth programming, even working administration.

We are officially one week away from the start of school, and we want our young people to have an opportunity to reconnect, have some fun, and enjoy the final days of summer together.

Starting tomorrow through Thursday, Dream City is hosting Teen Week for middle and high school students.

From 12:00–5:00 PM each day, students can come hang out, connect with friends, meet new people, and participate in activities including basketball, bowling, art, movies, food, games, and more.

Before the school year begins, come spend a few days with us. Bring a friend and let’s close out the summer together!
