The 2nd Annual Golf Open for The Bird House was a success, with beautiful weather and great company. We appreciate all of the support and time that everyone put in while organizing this event, from the silent auction to swinging on the green!

This Memorial Day, Monday May 25th, we will be holding a 75-minute donation based mat class to raise money for The Bird House, Johnson Co Hospice. Jen Evans, NCPT will lead a mixed level flow beginning at 9 AM in Balanchine dance studio at Nolte Academy. We welcome all community members and nonmembers!

The Bird House’s mission is to provide high quality and compassionate care to community members approaching the end of life. They work alongside Visiting Nurse Association to be the foundation of the community’s continuum of home-based healthcare, from birth to end of life.

Sign-up for this class can be completed through Mindbody or The BodyLab at Nolte app. Donations can be made the day of class via cash or check written to The BodyLab, or through Venmo directly to Jen Evans.

Please note, that space is limited, and we kindly ask for cancellations to be made in advance, if you are no longer able to attend.

Look at our new bird feeders, donated by Essence of Life Hospice!

Many of our feeders are getting older (some are 30 years old!), and making sure the property birds are staying fed throughout the summer is a priority.

Tiny feathers bring big joy to guests and staff across our organization, and the donation of some new bird feeders makes such a large impact! 🕊️

Overall, our 10 Year Anniversary Celebration was a tremendous success, and we will forever appreciate the support we’ve received from these organizations over the years. We look forward to continuing the mission of The Bird House, with continued collaboration with our local community organizations! 🩵🐤

We wanted to shout out Mirabito's Italian Restaurant for sending this wonderful appetizer to our 10 Year Celebration! Guests loved it, so make sure to swing by their restaurant to get some more!
