Hawks Union is back! Tonight we'll be hosting some great folks from IC labor to talk about what it's like to organize their workplaces!

For our first meeting of the semester we're going to go over some updates, upcoming direct actions, discuss local labor, and open Fall 2023 special elections.

If you have not received this email, please CHECK YOUR SPAM. This email contains a link to fill out your availabilities for the meeting, which everyone who wishes to attend should fill out.

This meeting will go over the current draft of the Constitution for editing and ratification. It will also go over many important first steps including upcoming Executive Board elections and our concerns about the upcoming semester.

Welcome to the Hawks' Union Facebook group!

We are a new group for student activists and our allies focused on building a united front for student rights at the University of Iowa. We seek to be a center for all pro-student direct actions and a place where all pro-student activists can collectively organize to bolster our strength in a united front.

We will organize through widespread direct action on and off campus to fight for our rights, attain community relief for both students and residents of Iowa City, halt tuition hikes, increase college funding, and campaign for various other issues.
