LovefromLevi.com, a 501©(3) organization, celebrates the life of 4-year-old Levi by offering personalized medical play books and toys to children, helping them to understand and cope with their medical challenges.

LovefromLevi sent out another three books yesterday for a total of six books this week. We are excited to help these kiddo get comfortable with their medical procedure. This week we have had over a hundred book orders on the waiting list so we are going to keep our volunteers book-makers busy!!!

Love from Levi recently supplied the Stead Family Children's Hospital child life department with a dozen customized plush toys. These plush toys were tailored to include medical features such as trach tubes, g-tubes, and EVDs. It is our hope that the children at Stead find comfort in these stuffed companions that reflect their own medical journeys.

Today we’re celebrating Scott, whose excitement about his new LovefromLevi hospital book is lighting up our day! ✨📖 Scott has Lowe syndrome, a rare genetic condition that can affect vision, brain development, kidneys, and muscle strength—meaning he faces medical challenges that many of us can’t imagine.

At LOVEfromLEVI, we believe that books at the hospital are powerful tools. Through medical play, children like Scott can better understand their experiences, process hospital visits, and find a sense of control and joy in the middle of tough treatments. 📚❤️ Each book is thoughtfully customized and personalized to reflect the treatments they are facing, helping make the unfamiliar feel a little less scary.

Keep turning those pages, Scott—your enthusiasm inspires us all. We’re so proud to celebrate you and grateful to your amazing family for sharing your journey and helping raise awareness about Lowe syndrome. 💙

LovefromLevi is once again creating customized stuffed animals. The child life team at Stead has asked us to create a stuffed animal with an External Ventricular Drain (EVD). An EVD is a temporary neurosurgical device that consists of a thin tube inserted into the brain's fluid-filled cavities (ventricles). This device serves to drain excess cerebrospinal fluid and measure intracranial pressure to prevent severe brain damage. Levi had an EVD placed when he was first diagnosed. The appearance of an EVD can be unsettling, and it is likely disturbing for children. Hopefully, the child who receives the stuffed animals will find comfort in knowing that their new friend has a similar device.

Austin received his book last week. His Mom reported Austin absolutely LOVED IT!! He said “I can't wait to bring this to school and show my friends what I go through!”This is another advantage of the LovefromLevi hospital book. It give kids a way to communicate to others what they experience. We are so happy it can help Austin!

Happy Heavenly Birthday Levi! We miss you everyday. In honor of your 9th birthday, LovefromLevi gave treat bags to Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Take a moment to remember Levi today by enjoying some simple things like blowing bubbles, being silly, eating a doughnut or showing kindness to others.

Maddie was thrilled to receive a bright pink unicorn with a continuous glucose monitor similar to her own from LovefromLevi. She loves it! We are happy to provide children with personalized books and customized stuffed animals to support them through medical procedures.

Another custom made page for a Love from Levi hospital book. This little girl was nervous and upset about losing her hair. So we made a page where she can switch between a wig, fancy hat or baseball hat. We hope this page helps her see that it can still be fun to dress up. We had many “magic hats” for Levi. He loved his paw patrol and blaze hats the best.
