Meet the newest member of our Board of Directors, Kate Klefstad!

Kate is the Director of Population Health & ACO Operations for University of Iowa Health Care.
In her work, Kate is responsible for developing and driving forward value-based strategy for UI Health Care. Kate focuses on understanding the policy, economic, and social landscapes that impact health, and works to reduce health disparities through collaboration, advocacy, and policy. Kate and her wife Katie have a bustling, blended family in Iowa City. They enjoy traveling, great food, and watching women's sports.

We are thrilled for the wealth of knowledge and passion for equity that Kate will bring to our team as we move forward helping young people thrive!

Please help us thank David as he wraps up his term on the Neighbors Board of Directors! David was a founding Board member of Neighbors, serving from our launch in 2021 to present. David has been invaluable to our organization - bringing clarity to our ideas and plans, offering resources and connections, and always willing to generously give his time to lend a listening ear. He has helped us learn what it means to be an inclusive, faith-based organization, and left a lasting impact on the care our team shows young people. We are so grateful for our time working together, and we look forward to continuing to make connections between Neighbors and our friends at . Thank you, DBG!
