We are proud to be a part of the unique and supportive small town of Ione. Our pageant has a rich history of helping young women gain confidence and leadership skills, while also providing them with the opportunity to earn scholarships to further their education. Despite our size, our community is filled with generous and supportive people who are always willing to help others, especially when it
comes tour many youth programs. It's this sense of community that has allowed the Miss Ione Scholarship Pageant to thrive and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young women in our community. The Miss Ione Scholarship Pageant was first established in 1966, and has been a cherished tradition in our community ever since. We are excited to announce that we have recently expanded our age divisions to include even more young women in our pageant. Our new age categories include Wee Miss (ages 2-4), Little Miss (ages 5-7), Jr. Miss (ages 8-10), Teen Miss (ages 10-12), Miss (ages 17-25), Mrs. (single, 25+). Thanks to the support of small businesses, local sponsors and the attendance of well-attended performances, we were able to award scholarships to Miss Teen Ione 2022 and her court in addition to the annual scholarships awarded to the Miss Ione division. It's moments like these that remind us of the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together to support our youth. We are dedicated to promoting confidence, poise, and leadership in young women, and we believe that our pageant is a great opportunity for them to gain valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. We are grateful to have the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements of the young women who participate in our pageants. We look forward to continuing to grow and evolve our pageant, and we are confident that the small town spirit of Ione will continue to inspire and support us along the way. Our mission is to empower and inspire young women to achieve their dreams and become leaders in our community.
