Iola Public Library is closed Saturday-Monday, September 5-7th for Labor Day. We are closed Tuesday September 8th for electrical repairs. We will see you Wednesday September 9th at 9am.

We had a wonderful time on the square last night. I wagged a wagon full of adult, YA, and children's books to give away from the library, along with several brochures highlighting our community offerings. Anyone who chose a book also got to pick a prize from my gift bag, which was a big hit.

The evening featured a Farmers Market, food trucks, bounce houses, a paint station, a car show, and the Iola Library. There was also a highly entertaining pie-eating contest where the reigning "Pie King" lost his crown to a new victor.

The weather was perfect, and it was a fantastic evening for everyone involved.
