This week I had a DBS installed for my tremors. The 27th I have another surgery to install the controller. Then 2 to 6 months of adjustments.

There was nothing easy about this surgery, the worst headache imaginable. I'm making headway and the headaches have let up.

I'm giving thanks to my neurosurgeon for his empathy, patience and humility. He is the most humble and patient man I've ever met.

If you need a neurosurgeon I can refer Dr. Javedan at Memorial Herman in The Woodlands. He is an amazing person and surgeon.

Hello everyone. It's been a long time since I posted anything but this last year was a rough one.

We are blessed to be on the mend in our house. We do have another surgery scheduled for March 11th. Another reverse shoulder replacement for my husband and we're hoping this is the last one for a long while.

I'm hoping to do some popup events in the future and get back out to friends events and support their fundraising ventures soon.

I hope you are all doing great. That life is treating you well and you're enjoying this sunshine we've had recently.

Emergency Management Training Class – Interest Check

Hi everyone,
I’m looking at putting together an Emergency Management Training Class after the New Year. This idea has really stuck with me ever since one of our friends went down in a death wobble. Thankfully he walked away with road rash—but it easily could have been much worse. Situations like that remind us how important it is to know what to do in an emergency.

I have an excellent instructor lined up and a potential location in Magnolia.

Class Details:

Cost: $75 per person

Length: 8 hours

Class Size: Limited to 12 participants

You’ll learn skills that could literally help you save a riding buddy’s life in an emergency situation.

Before I secure a sponsor and finalize the remaining details, I want to see how many of you would be interested in attending.
