Hello friends! The Senior Discount Run is this Saturday, May 9th. No, this is not about money--the event is free for all! 🙂 Instead, it is about creating some friendly competition among participants of all ages by giving seniors (those 55+ years young) a sweet "discount" of almost 25% off the race course distance. One more quick reminder to come out and join us for our classic Inyokern 10 Miler road race this Saturday April 25th! Entry is free with donations appreciated. The start location is the same, just west of the intersection of South China Lake Boulevard and Highway 395 (Google "El Paso Hills Brown Road Trailhead", or click this Google Maps Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VUca9EW9zCFWRzUaA ). Coming Saturday, April 25th: Don't miss out on a chance to be a part of the 49th edition of the longest-running OTHTC event, the Inyokern 10 Miler ! This classic is also the only scheduled road race this year, so mark your calendars, and be sure to check the event page for details and updates. For several years, this page has been named "Ridgecrest Running" apparently for historical reasons not clearly understood by many around today (old Facebook policies, preferences, etc.?). Therefore, we have decided to change it to "Over The Hill Track Club - Ridgecrest" since it seems to make more sense. Happy trails!

This Saturday, Feb 28th, is the 2026 edition of the OTHTC Prediction Run -- don't miss out! This is the run where the participants finishing closest to their predicted time are the victors, regardless of speed. Run, walk, or crawl, everyone has a chance. It is a FREE event, too! REMINDER! If you appreciate what our running club (OTHTC) does for the community and others and would like to get more involved, please join us for our Annual Membership Meeting , to be held THIS WEDNESDAY January 21, 2026; 5:30 pm in the back room at John's Pizza. (348 W. Ridgecrest Blvd.)

Pizza, soda and breadsticks will be provided by the club. Other menu items will be available for purchase.

Membership is still cheap! $15 for an individual membership, or $25 for a family (two adults in the same household, plus kids under 18). Pay your dues at the event, or ahead of time via our club page on RunSignup.
