🌴 ☀️ 🛥️ 🏕️ Now that it is vacation season 🏆, please remember to let me know I need to skip your delivery. I do keep a calendar for this, so if your vacation is weeks or months away, you are still welcome to tell me at anytime. Happy travels!

Egg subscribers, the food pantry Manna Market in Inwood is in need of more egg cartons. We are licensed and cannot reuse them, but Manna Market would love to take advantage of your stacks of them so they can hand out eggs to their clients.

Feel free to comment below if you would like to ask Jodi to grab them from you. She has volunteered to deliver them!

I do have extra eggs, so if any of my Sioux Falls followers would like a one-time delivery tomorrow, let me know!

Canton subscribers, you should have received a note on your egg delivery the last two weeks. For the next two weeks at least, I will be experimenting with the delivery order to see if I can make my routes more efficient. (My Type A personality is kicking in a little with this. 😉) I utilized my nephew Josh and his analytical mind and computer programming experience to generate a new order. (Side note: did you know that my issues are called the Traveling Salesman problem? It's actually a real thing!) It appears my new route will take me west to east, generally, through Canton. I start delivering eggs in Canton about 7 AM. If it saves me 30 minutes every week, I may stick with the new routes. If it doesn't, I will likely return to my old routes.

Inwood and Sioux Falls subscribers, this should not affect you at all.

Please set out a cooler if you are not home on Thursday mornings to grab the eggs right away. They are refrigerated and must remain cold for food safety purposes. Also, don't forget that Sunshine sells our eggs in town too!

I have missed a couple of messages on Facebook Messenger. If you need to change a delivery, you can comment under a post, or better yet, call me at my cell number which is on the magnets I handed out. Or comment on a post asking for my phone number, and I will send it to you privately. If I post it on here, I will get more spam than I can handle!

Hey subscribers, you can order extra eggs any week or skip if you have too many. (I like the extra better than the skipping. 😆) We continue to have hundreds of extra dozens that go to Feeding South Dakota each week, but we would love to sell more. Selling =helping our families in Ethiopia. Donating eggs is great for people here but does not advance our mission in Ethiopia.

For those of you who like eggs occasionally, we offer eggs for sale at Sunshine in Canton, the 57th an Cliff Hy-Vee in Sioux Falls, and at Inwood Hatchery and Oak Street Station in Inwood. Yes, we are looking for more retail markets!

Update: SOLD OUT! Thanks! I did not expect them all to go in 24 hours. ❤️

Kaylee and I made pure vanilla extract, using Madagascar vanilla beans, as a fundraiser for Biruk’s Egg Project. Bottles are approximately 10 oz. (not 12 as previously posted!) and can be personally delivered to Canton, Inwood, or Sioux Falls on Thursdays during egg deliveries, starting in about 2 weeks. Each bottle is $25. Unfortunately we are not able to ship at this time.

Please comment below if you would like to place an order, along with the number of bottles you would like. I will post a picture as soon as I get them labeled! We have around 30 bottles available.
