We could use a little help today! We have a couple very specific needs for a client. This client has had a rough road and has a lengthy recovery ahead that these items are crucial for when homeless and dealing with medical needs. If anyone is able to bless these two specifics needs our way for said client, please message and let us know-I believe our Amazon will only allow them to be purchased once each so no fears of duplicating. They are both reasonably priced and would be life changing in the healing/growth for their future. ❤️

Thank you so so much for buggie bands!!! It’s that time of the year where we GET SERIOUS, more serious than usual! Please listen to the needs-especially some important leadership rolls we need to fill!!

And watch this week to come as we kick off the Stock the Shelter Shelves campaign, where we put out the simple basic needs and you all help us make this HAPPEN, because Citrus is a community that CARES!! 🥶It’s coming, and we’re preparing now!💙

Hey friends- one of our volunteer friends, Melissa Keeran, is hosting a fundraiser to help B.A.S.I.C.S. United l Homeless Outreach! It’s AVON! If you have need or you want to donate some items from them to us (like Skin So Soft Bug Spray, lip balms, soaps and such) we would be grateful! Melissa has shared there’s 9 days left open in the fundraiser. ❤️

If you know B.A.S.I.C.S. then you will understand that they are always looking for items to help with the needs of some special people.

If you don't, I want to tell you about them. B.A.S.I.C.S. United Inc. (Brothers and Sisters in Christ's Service United) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit homeless outreach mission operating in Citrus County, Fl. The organization focuses on direct street outreach, building personal relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty, and helping them find community resources to achieve self-sufficiency. In addition to their year-round assistance, they also operate the Citrus Cold Weather Shelter. The nonprofit acts as a "gap filler" in the local social services ecosystem. They provide critical advocacy for individuals who struggle with transportation, communication barrier issues, or navigating public services.

It's Sunday!!! That means Nature Coast Church has outreach services through their Love More Ministries! They serve a hot meal, offer showers, usually fresh clothing if available, and much more love and fellowship with lots of resources and info available!!

Please, share with all those whom are battling being unhoused in any way, it's an incredible outreach of service!

There is a threat for continued localized flooding from heavy rainfall as several areas west of Highway 19 are still experiencing above normal water levels.
