The Monday Meetup: A Careers & Community Series

Not sure what you want to do after graduation, or just curious about what’s possible right here in Citrus County? The Monday Meetup: A Careers & Community Series is a monthly hangout designed for high school students who want real insight into real careers.

On the first Monday of each month, you’ll hear from local professionals who are actually doing the jobs. They will share how they got there, what the work is really like, and what paths are available without leaving the community. No pressure, no lectures, just honest conversations, practical advice, and the chance to ask questions you won’t find answers to in a textbook.

Each meetup includes free food, giveaway drawings, and a relaxed, creative environment at the Twistid Arts Black Box Studio. Stick with the series, and students with the best attendance will be entered into a grand prize drawing at the end.

This series is a partnership between the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and Twistid Arts Initiative, bringing career exploration and community connection together, one Month at a time.

Where: Twistid Arts Black Box Studio, 208 W Highland Blvd, Inverness, FL 34452
When: First Monday of each month | 4:00 – 5:00 PM
Date: February 2, 2026
Who: High school students curious about careers, skills, and opportunities close to home

Come for the food. Stay for the insight. Leave with ideas.
