UPDATE: our sweet little lady is now in her new home!
Our transport fell through and we have an immediate need to find someone to give Miss Trunchbull a ride to her new home in Dunnellon. She's currently at Citrus County Animal Services. Do you know anyone who can help her out? Please let me know if you can help. A livestock trailer or a horse trailer with a ramp is needed. Thank you in advance!

Join us for a dog and 𝙆𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣 adoption event at 𝘙𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨 in Crystal River on Saturday July 12, 2025! All are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. The adoption fees are paid by the national Bissell Empty the Shelters adoption event! You only pay the county $10 license fee, when applicable. You pay only $10 county license fee, when applicable. We are providing a Martingale collar and leash for each dog adopted. Come pick out your new family member in a fun setting! We will be there from 10 am - 1 pm. 1801 US Highway 19. Crystal River, FL. The Bissell Empty the Shelter event is also currently going on at Citrus County Animal Services until July 19th!

We're holding a walk-in vaccine clinic at our shelter on Wednesday, July 9, from 10-12 PM and 2-4 PM. Rabies vaccines are free for Citrus County residents.

Heartworm tests, microchipping, and other vaccines will be offered at low costs.
