The Annual Suncoast Credit Union's Schoolhouse Hustle raises funds benefiting the CCEF and its mission of FUNDING SUCCESS IN THE CLASSROOM. Along with the two races managed by DRC Sports, there is a Health Expo and YMCA Kids' Zone (free babysitting for race participants). Wear your school colors... two schools will win Spirit Trophies and a $1,000

award for participation - the first based on total participants, and the second based on a ratio of participants to student enrollment (so the smaller schools have a chance too!). There will also be door prizes for the 'most spirited' individual and group. Everyone who cares about public education in Citrus County is invited! Since April 1988, CCEF's mission has been to provide resources to support the Citrus County School District to enhance the quality of education for present and future generations. The Foundation is dedicated to:
. Encouraging business and community involvement in the public school system
. Promoting creative and innovative educational programs
. Fostering excellence in learning
. Recognizing outstanding achievements of students, teachers, support personnel and administrators

FYI - Our FINAL COUNT for the 2026 race was 1,030 registered participants! Big (running) shoes to fill next year for sure.

Race packets (bib, medal, tee) that weren't picked up at the event and those for Virtual entrants are being delivered to the schools this week. The t-shirt re-order (almost 80!) went in today and we're hoping to have them ASAP.

**An update on T-Shirts and Virtual Participant Packets (including tees)**

Organizers are working on getting everything together! We're planning to deliver outstanding items to the schools for distribution where possible... this saves us a ton in mailing costs and pick up visits. We had so much last-minute support (THANK YOU ALL!!) and we have to re-order a number of shirt sizes.

💙 CCEF office is short-staffed this week but know that we are working diligently on the event follow-up 💙
