I don't know what the call it in the Navy, in the Army wall called it short. The last 30 days, where every things goes wrong.
We had a conversation today, the year in review.
It started with where's my calendar, the the flood in the ladies room, top it off with a broken bar cooler, unfinished projects.
Well we talked about his 1st day, where I said, this year, I'm going to raise the funds to fix the old Post. We did it and he put his name on it, at the end his term. The project was funded and passed the house committee.
It was a disappointment to both of us, not seeing the finished product.
I did a 24 hour quick fundraiser, I did turn in my proposal to the house committee for fixing the heat problem in the ladies room, with the funds to do so. That didn't even help.
Well I made a few calls, to quick fix a few things. I planned a surprise for him. I know one thing for sure. Post Commander John Keith will be a very busy guy for the next 2 weeks.
