Beginning tonight, our Let’s Feed Citrus distribution at Calvary Church is moving to its brand-new Thursday after-work time!

We are making this shift to better serve our community—especially working families, parents juggling school schedules, or anyone who can't make it to our morning events.

It’s also in preparation for Calvary Academy starting soon at this location. We’ve shifted our time to move outside of school operation hours. Learn more about the school here! calvaryacademy.online.

⏰ When: Tonight from 5:30 PM to ~6:30 PM.

📌 Since we are targeting working families and preparing for eventual school operation, we’re asking people to arrive after 5pm to get in line. Our parking team will be there to assist.

What to expect starting tonight:
New Schedule: We are moving to a bi-weekly format (alternating weeks with our Fairgrounds distributions).

New Check-in tool: We are testing a new check-in system using the RAN (Resource Assistance Network app). We’d like help from neighbors who can download and use it. Our check-in team will guide us on site for questions. You can pre-download the app by searching Resource Assistance Navigator in the Apple App or Google Play store. The app will qualify you as eligible to receive food, similar to the physical from you may be used to (be advised, this app contains ads not affiliated with Let’s Feed Citrus, USDA, or Farmshare.)

Each month, we'll partner with a local restaurant where you can enjoy great food, connect with friends, and help support survivors in our community. A portion of proceeds from participating restaurants will be donated directly to CASA.

No-cost meals are available for all kids and teens ages 1–18 this summer! Families can visit one of the locations below for nutritious meals all summer long. 💙

Thank you, Hernando! Through the food drive Feed A Child, Feed A Dream, an initiative of the Hernando County YMCA Togetherhood team, you all came together and donated over 20000 lbs in weight of food to feed hungry children in the county. Amazing!!

During the school year, PHP provides each week nearly 600 kids with four meals for the weekend. We continue over the summer break by working with summer camps and other children's organizations. Parents may also stop by our 1396 Kass Circle HELP Center each Friday between 9 -2 to pick up a bag. Help us to continue to not let any child in Hernando go hungry.
