A very full day at the Capitol this Wednesday, lobbying for educator healthcare!

Members Kim and Sean met with Representatives Rick Hansen & Mary Frances Clardy, Senator Matt Klein, and (future) Senator Paul Cumings, they sat in on a senate Ed Policy Committee hearing for the Educator Group Insurance Program (EGIP) bill, and participated in a healthcare panel.

They got to share and hear some incredibly impactful stories about the unaffordability crisis facing Minnesota schools and teachers.

🔹After 12 hours yesterday a tentative agreement has been reached. Thank you to our negotiators, members, and community members who have supported us receiving a fair contract.

🔹 Until the TA is approved by the executive council further details cannot be shared. Once the contract is approved information will be sent to all members.
