Tonight, brother Dane Rolloff was officially sworn in as a new Captain and brother Roger LeDoux sworn in as a new Lieutenant!! They started their new positions a couple weeks ago but were made official at tonight's city council meeting. Congratulations gentleman!

On Friday November 14th, IAFF Local 5251 members were presented with recognition awards by Minnesota Congresswoman Angie Craig for their actions that contributed to the saving of the lives of members of the Inver Grove Heights community this year. Local 5251 stands proud and grateful of all of our members dedication to the service of our community and their abilities to provide fast, effective care and skill to those in need 24/7, 365. Well done Brothers!

For resuscitative efforts that resulted in the saving of another humans life after cardiac arrest, with the patient being discharged with a positive outcome and prognosis - Pictured: Captain Josh Parrow, Not pictured: Lieutenant Dane Rolloff, Firefighter Anthony LaForte, Firefighter Robert Christenson

Your Inver Grove Heights Professional Fire Fighters would like to say THANK YOU to all the veterans out there. Those who are still with us and those who we have lost. We thank you for your service to our country and putting the needs of others before yourself.

In addition we want to thank the current and past veterans of our department; on top of serving your country, you made another promise to help people in our community on their worst days.

We also want to say Happy belated Birthday to our United States Marine Corp on their 250th birthday!!

Thank you to all our service members and our thoughts go out to those lost and the families who have lost someone.
