A tip to help our early nesters🪺
Please hold off on spring tree cutting until later. There are some owl species, such as, Mama Owl who nest in cavities of trees and would be on eggs/babies. Allow them time to fledge🪶

Officer Taya Catherwood rescued the eastern screech owl from a St. Charles bridge in January and was there to watch it fly free after two months of surgery and rehabilitation.

Help make our upcoming auction soar!!!

Coming up in just a few short weeks (second full week of May) we will be holding our fourth annual "SPRING FLIGHT" silent auction at Silver Spruce Brewing on 8th St in Traverse City. Thanks to many of you, this event continues to be one of our largest sources of patient rehabilitation funds each year!

So... here we go again!

As we've said before, any good auction requires TWO things to be successful: bidders and something for them to BID ON. With that in mind, we are reaching out to all of our supporters in search of items to be up for bid!

What we are looking for:
-Auction-able items of any value ranging from $25 to $5000
-Merchandise, food items, or gift certificates for local businesses
-Art items, sculptures, clever creations, or anything craft related
-Certificates for services you may provide and may be willing to donate for a good cause!
-Anything else wildlife lovers might appreciate (bonus points if it's raptor related!).

And no need to worry about delivery, we are happy to arrange for collection of items being donated, as well as deliver a receipt for the value of your item at the time of pick up.

BUT ALSO, as this event continues to grow, we are also looking for a few friends of North Sky Raptor to help sponsor the costs of putting together this shindig. In exchange for your support, our $200 Feathered Friends will have a chance to snap a few photos of you holding Raza (our Peregrine falcon), AND our $400 Full-flight Friends will receive a 30 minute arranged private “meet and greet” with an available ambassador on a future date! And, both tiers get to enjoy any one complimentary Silver Spruce beverage of your choosing! If you'd like to help sponsor, reach out directly to [email protected]
