Operation Refuge Operation Refuge is a non-profit organization that helps surrounding communities by providing food and services to needy families.

As a client-choice pantry, Mother's Pantry allows families and individuals to shop at our store-like facility at no cost. Families and individuals take only what they want and can use. TEFAP-The Emergency Food Assistance Program
Mother's Pantry is a distribution site for The Emergency Food Assistance Program, which is a Federal food commodities program. Food is distributed from Mother's Pantry on

the fourth Thursday of each month from 10:00am-12:00pm. Intake each Thursday 10:00 a.m. for more information or to register for TEFAP.

We’re beyond excited to share that Operation Refuge Mother’s Pantry has been recognized by the United Way! This special acknowledgment will help us ensure families in southeastern Wayne County have access to the nutritious meals they need. We couldn’t do this without each of you—our supporters, volunteers, and partners. Let’s keep making a difference together! Stay tuned for more!

United Way for Southeastern Michigan secured grant funding for Mother’s Pantry to purchase a van for home deliveries, addressing transportation barriers and meeting the evolving needs of the residents they serve.
