The "WHY" is so important. 💚
I’ll be the first to admit I’m better with a chainsaw than I am with video editing, but my heart needs to tell this story every way possible.
This is a 10-minute journey of our progress so far. It’s a look at how we’re turning the scars of the flood into a legacy for the river we all love. It’s not perfect, but it’s real—and it’s happening.
Thank you for walking this path with me. From the roots we rise.

🌳 FROM WITNESS TREES TO A TRAIL OF HOPE
The massive cypress & pecan trees lost in the flood have held the history of this area for centuries. Their story should not end up a debris pile of milled up for lumber—they should be transformed into a legacy of resilience.
The first five monumental sculptures serve as a proof of concept—demonstrating how art can:
Link communities along the River Road corridor
Create destinations that support local economies and
preserve the history held within the flood trees.
To bring this professional infrastructure and our elite carving team to the river, we need your investment.

📺 HEARTWOOD REVIVAL IN THE NEWS:
Huge thank you to Spectrum News 1 Texas for sharing the story of the Heartwood Revival (AGAIN) today.
Thank you to our partners Extreme Weather Survivors Keith Asbury for weighing in.
As the Visionary Artist & Project Director, seeing our mission reach the wider community is a major milestone. We are committed to transforming the fallen cypress & pecan from the July 4th flood into a permanent Art Trail that honors the resilience of the Texas Hill Country.
What this means for us:
This isn't just about art—it’s about building a permanent economic driver and a space for collective healing. With our $140,000 Master Plan and our Apex Carving Team ready, we are moving closer to making this Art Trail a reality.

We want your feedback: After you watch, let us know what you think. Your local voice is the heartwood of this revival.
From the Roots, We Rise.

More than six months after the July 4 floods, the Texas Hill Country is still taking a financial hit.

We are building a world-class heritage tourism destination that will draw from across the state into the historic corridors- bringing new economic vitality directly to the local shops, galleries, Airbnb's and businesses of Hunt & Ingram. Eventually linking Kerrville-Comfort.

Together we are turning a natural disaster into a Trail of hope and an economic win for these communities. Learn more & Join the revival

The Heartwood Revival: Turning Trauma into Transformation. 🌳❤️
This isn't an effort to forget; it’s a compassionate way for our community to honor the lives, homes, and businesses lost on July 4th.
We are transforming salvaged "Witness Trees" into a permanent 17-Sculpture Art Trail across Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, and Comfort. This project serves a dual purpose:
✨ Healing: Art therapy and a symbolism of resilience for our residents.
✨ Growth: A regional tourism engine designed to drive traffic directly to our local businesses as they rebuild.
Join the Revival. Your donation funds the first phase in Hunt & Ingram.
Through our fiscal 501(c)3 sponsor, Fractured Atlas, all donations and in-kind support are tax-deductible.
