Day 2: Project Pillow Covers!!! Sew -N- Sow Summer Sewing Series with Ms. Marie Results are in!!! And judging by the smiles on their faces it’s safe to say they are pleased! And so am I!!!

It’s just like Magic!!! They are sewing on their own and have completed their first project!!! They have built up their confidence to do it again. All By Themselves!!!

Ahhhh my Grasshoppers!!! “Sew” much to learn!!! BIG Smile!!!

This is how it started! Sew -N- Sow Summer Sewing Series with Ms. Marie. From an empty classroom filled with sewing machines and minutes later to a room filled with youth pushing the pedal to the metal. Learning to thread their machines and whizzing through paper practice sheets for stitching, then moving onto making 5/8 seam allowances.

This is only the first day! These are the faces I love most!!!

I’m “Sew” Excited!!!

Sew -N- Sow with Ms Marie will be hosting its SummerSewing Series with (6) bi-weekly sewing sessions for up to (10) youth ages 12 - 24 who live, work, learn or play in the Inglewood /LA areas. Registration is required to attend.

Classes begin on Tuesday, July 29th, promptly at 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. We’ll be meeting at WAYS CDC located at 8617 South Crenshaw Blvd. Inglewood 90305.

Students will learn how to operate a sewing machine and make beginner’s projects to help gain their confidence.

Lunch and project materials will be provided

Certificates of Completion awarded to Students with full participation.
