Clothe Your Neighbor is back. 🤎

From October through December, we’ll be meeting once a month to collect clothing and essentials for our neighbors in need.

This year, we’re putting a special focus on outerwear and cold-weather essentials as we prepare for the winter months. We’ll be collecting new and gently used coats, jackets, hoodies, sweaters, rain gear, warm pants and blankets, along with new socks and other essentials.

Betye Saar’s art truly knew no bounds. 🤎🎨

Getting to experience Let’s Get It On: The Wearable Art of Betye Saar together was such a beautiful reminder of just how expansive creativity can be. She was an artist, a storyteller, a designer, and so much more.

We all left reminded that there are endless ways for Black women to create, express ourselves, and move through the world. There is no one way to be us.

An Announcement 🤍

After two amazing years, August will be the final month of EH Pickleball Club. Eason House events will also be paused for the foreseeable future.

Thank you to everyone who has shown up, supported the vision, and helped make Eason House what it became. Every event, every conversation, every new friendship, and every shared moment has been a gift.

Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your story. I hope you’ll join us one last time this August as we close out this chapter together. 🤍
