, recipient of the 2018 Princess Grace Award in Dance, hails from Los Angeles, CA, where she began her dance training at the Lula Washington Dance Theatre. She then continued her studies at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts(LACHSA). She later received her BFA from the Purchase Conservatory of Dance in 2016, where she was awarded the Adopt-A-Dancer Scholarship. She joined A.I.M by Kyle Abraham in fall 2016, as a dancer, soloist, and company liaison. Marcella was featured with A.I.M in Dance Magazine in August 2017 and was mentioned in the New York Times for the A.I.M’s Joyce season in May 2018. Marcella is currently a performer with TRIBE multidisciplinary visual performances and is a freelance artist, choreographer and teacher in Los Angeles and New York.

Rosalynde LeBlanc has spent over twenty-years in dance as a performer and choreographer. She holds a BFA from the State University of New York at Purchase and an MFA from Hollins University. She is a professor and former Chair of the Dance Program at Loyola Marymount University. Prior to her academic career, Rosalynde was a member of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company (1993-1999), Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project (1999-2002), and the Liz Gerring Dance Company (2003-2006). She has had her writing published in the leading international dance periodicals, Dance Magazine and Ballettanz, and her choreography has been presented in venues around the country.

She produced and co-directed, with cinematographer, Tom Hurwitz, the critically acclaimed documentary film, “Can You Bring It: Bill T. Jones and D-Man in the Waters.” The film was a 2021 New York Times Critic’s Pick and 2022 Chita Rivera Award nominee for Best Direction of a Documentary Release. In 2020, Rosalynde’s work at LMU earned her honorary induction into the Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu.

We’re so excited to share our next Public Program during our exhibition INFINITE REHEARSAL at . Join us as & share what they’ve been working on this Wednesday 11/29 at 7pm.
Also, this Saturday 12/2 will teach a FREE improvisation class open to all levels of movement practitioners from 11:30-12:30pm. No registration needed.

We’re thrilled to witness the second contribution to our Artist in Residence program with tomorrow featuring supreme hyphenate artist . Qwenga will perform on the grounds at the resort at 7pm - 11/2 after completing a month long residency working on his new project, MONOLITH.
