We are proud to recognize Brooklynn Carter of Loyola Marymount University as the first recipient of the inaugural 'Blue Haven Foundation Undergraduate of the Year Award'! Created to celebrate a student who exemplifies academic excellence, leadership, service, mentorship, and purpose-driven achievement, this award reflects the very best of what it means to lead with impact. As a Political Science major and Chapter President of Sorority, Incorporated, Nu Epsilon Chapter, Brooklynn has demonstrated a commitment to uplifting others while pursuing her goals with excellence. The ladies of Omicron Rho Zeta had the honor of supporting The M Factor 2: Perimenopause & Menopause Conversations for Black Women in partnership with Black Women for Wellness.
We were proud to join an important discussion on women’s health, menopause awareness, and health equity led by our own Dr. Letitia T. Bradley and an incredible panel featuring Denise Pines (), Tafiq Akhir (), and Dr. Tracey Sylvester ().
Through education, open dialogue, and shared experiences, attendees gained valuable information and resources to help break the silence surrounding menopause and advocate for healthier outcomes for Black women.
Thank you to Black Women for Wellness, the panelists, and everyone who attended for creating a space that informed, empowered, and inspired.

Join us in celebrating Soror Porschea Williams on an outstanding achievement!

Porschea recently earned her Master of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge, a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to serving others. As a Children’s Social Worker, she works each day to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, embodying compassion, leadership, and advocacy.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Porschea is a devoted wife, mother, Soror, and friend, balancing her many roles with grace and purpose. Since joining Omicron Rho Zeta in Fall 2025, she has already made a positive impact, and we are excited to see all that she will accomplish as she continues her journey in Zeta.

Porschea’s achievement is a reflection of her hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence. We are proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to witnessing her continued success and service to the community.

💙🤍 Soror Spotlight: Deja Nora 🤍💙

Join us in celebrating Soror Deja Nora on an extraordinary accomplishment!

This year, Deja earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree, graduating with honors and an outstanding 3.91 GPA. As the first person in her family to earn a master’s degree, she has paved the way for future generations through her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

In addition to her academic achievements, Deja has made a tremendous impact within Omicron Rho Zeta Chapter and throughout the community. She has been a devoted supporter of our youth auxiliary, the Archonettes, helping to guide and inspire the next generation of young women. She has also spearheaded multiple Period Poverty Drives, ensuring that essential menstrual products reach those in need while raising awareness about an important issue affecting many in our communities.

Deja’s passion for service, leadership, and mentorship embodies the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and grateful for the positive impact she continues to make.
