On behalf of the Inglewood Pacific (CA) Chapter, The Links Incorporated, AIDS Healthcare Foundation and its Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLACC), join us on Saturday, March 6th for our virtual convening in recognition of International Women’s HERstory Month.
"Rock the Red": Women Worldwide Taking a Stance, a moderated community dialogue, will look at the intersectionality of health disparities, that disproportionately impact black women and girls across the globe and ways that black women can arise to new levels to support each other, minus the physical borders that may exist, to work together to address this impact. In the context of this conversation we will explore how race, gender and socio-economic status contribute to the elevation of these disparities across the globe.
The dialogue will conclude with tangible action items that Black women can enact that will shift the trajectory of health disparities impacting this target constituency.
