🦃Pecan pie is the official state pie of Texas! Whether you prefer pecan pie, candied pecans or pecans in your sweet potato casserole, pecans are a staple on many Thanksgiving tables - all thanks to trees.

🌳Pecans play a major role in our holiday but, they also play a big role in Texas. Pecan trees have been Texas' state tree for over 100 years and is actually the only Texas nut that is commercially produced.

🥧So as you celebrate Thanksgiving this week, and reflect on all you're thankful for, add pecan trees to your list and the many benefits they provide our state and taste buds!
