I have a small group attending the River Forge Martial Arts on Wednesday, May 20th. The class is held at 345 College Ave, Beaver. Abigail suggested we arrive at 7:30 pm. Most students are barefoot, but shoes are allowed.

Working together with Penn State University Beaver, AAUW helps provide hygiene and laundry essentials for students in need—items that can make a meaningful difference in everyday life.

A special thank you to PSU Nurse Jessica Judy, who established a campus pantry to ensure students have access to these important supplies, and to Chancellor Carey McDougall for recognizing the positive impact this effort brings to the student community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner on this initiative and make a difference together!

Ladies,

This is a reminder that Femmes will meet on Wednesday, April 1, at 12:30, at Jackson’s Restaurant, near the mall. Please contact me by Tuesday morning if you will be there, and I do hope to see you then. New members, if available, please join us for lunch each month and get to know us in small groups…. no agenda, just friendly conversation.

Looking Ahead:

On FRIDAY, May 8, Femmes will meet at Christy House in Sewickley, one of our favorite places, around 12-12:30 ( time to be confirmed). Since seating is limited, reservations must be in a week to 10 days in advance, so give it some thought.

Prayers:

Salam Raskovsky, one of our members whose homeland is Lebanon, asks for prayers for her family who are suffering through this war as she suffers with them.
Our prayers are for her family, for her, and for peace in the Middle East. If you know Salam, please reach out to her.
