The Frelsburg Volunteer Fire Department Annual Feast is set for Sunday, June 14, at the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church Grounds in Frelsburg. Enjoy barbecue plates, auctions, games, live music, prizes, and more while supporting the department’s fire equipment and operating expenses. Serving begins at 11 a.m.

I just heard the saddest news today. Emily has been missing since April 26 and left without her phone. She is a regular in our library. Please pray for her safety and keep an eye out in case you see her. Thank you.

Of course we support the Texas Extension Education Association of Austin County -- they provide scholarships, educational opportunities and support the Library! Tickets for the quilt (winner announced on 6/28) and/or the BBQ Chicken and Sausage Fundraiser on July 15 are available here!

The 2026 Round Top Festival is very close to home and such a phenomenal opportunity for music lovers. We're posting particularly about the Young Persons Concert on Tuesday, June 16th from 11am-noon, when young musicians will play and aspiring young people get a chance to go on stage and look and touch instruments. (Hint: There's no Summer Reading Program entertainment that day.)

Buy raffle tickets at Lindemann's during lunchtime on Saturdays, from a TEEA member, here at the West End Library or at the City of Industry 4th of July fireworks celebration on June 28th between 5 and 9 pm. The winner will be announced during the celebration, but you don't have to be present to win!
