We had an amazing Retirement Celebration yesterday as we step down as High School Youth Leaders! 🥹
We've led 14 Worktrips (would have been 15 but 1 was canceled due to covid),
had 288 hours and 21 minutes+ of drive time,
traveled 19, 278+ miles, across 20 states AND 16 graduating classes. 🥰

We've been so blessed over the years to be able to learn from the youth as we walked with them to help them find their way in faith.

We love you all & hope you know that no matter what has happened over the years, we feel so lucky to have been a part of your lives & pray you are well! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who sent notes to our daughter for her to make us an amazing memory book, for all the pictures over the years to help us remember the memories, messages & cards, people who were able to attend the party, the gifts, the party with set-up, food & clean-up, hugs & pictures! We feel so sincerely honored & loved!! 🥰
This is not a good bye! We are here if you need us & don't forget you are loved!! 🥰

We got to share about our mission trip to Arvada, Colorado yesterday at church. ✝️ It was a good service & we are so proud of the youth!! Thank you to everyone who helps make HS Youth Worktrips what they are!! 🥰

We've made it safely back to church!! 🥰 Thank you for the prayers! We hope to see you Sunday for church at 9:30am & Van Dams retirement party from 10:30ish-1pm. ❤️✝️

We had such an amazing Thursday!!!
We started the morning with a beautiful drive through the Rocky Mountains to Golden Gate Canyon State Park, where we enjoyed a BEAUTIFUL hike! How can you not see & feel the Lord in that beauty! ✝️🥰
Then we enjoyed the afternoon swimming at Westminster Rec Center.
And we closed the night with an awesome circle of "highs, lows & buffalo" & "how the week changed us". 🥹 photo credit for some to youth & PPM staff)

It's been a pretty good day with some really hard work! We split into 2 groups & deep cleaned the church nursery & the other group walked around the neighborhood picking up trash & handing out water & snacks. Then we walked around Old Town Arvada for some shopping & ice cream. Now we're watching the sunset behind the Rocky Mountains. How can you not see God in any of this! ✝️🥰
