It is an honor to announce Larry McCluney Jr has been elected to serve as Commander in Chief of The International Sons of Confederate Veterans and by his side will be Annette, our First Lady!
The Commander is a member of the Brig/Gen. Benjamin G. Humphrey SCV Camp and the First Lady is a member of the Ella Palmer Chapter of Mississippi Order of Confederate Rose.

It was an honor to be of service to Commander George Conor Bond and the men of the Mississippi Division while they attended today’s workshop in Jackson. We provided breakfast and snacks and served them lunch. It was a great time of fellowship! Three truly Southern ladies are greatly appreciated....Cindy Bond, Suzi Bond White and Ann McCaskill, who provided help, laughter and Southern “sisterhood”!

The B/G Benjamin G. Humphreys Camp # 1625 cordially invites all of you, your family and friends to our Annual Lee - Jackson Banquet on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the 1st Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall located at 311 Catchings Avenue in Indianola, MS. Social Hour will be from 6 - 7 pm with dinner at 7. Our guest speaker is the MS Division Commander Conor Bond. Dress for the evening should be "church attire" or period dress. This will be a Pot Luck Dinner with the Camp providing fried chicken as the main entree. We are asking Camp Members and anyone else to bring side dishes such as vegetables, casseroles, salads, bread or desserts. Please contact anyone on the below list with how many in your party and what dish you will bring on or before January 16th. Anyone wishing to honor their Confederate Ancestor in the Candlelight Memorial Service please send his name, rank and unit to Dan McCaskill

Dottie is truly a force of nature and strength of OCR in Tennessee. As president of our chapter, I’m asking for prayers and positive thoughts to be offered for Dottie and her family. I’ll keep everyone posted, as I learn of any changes.

Most of y'all know Dottie Meadows, president of Sophie Hatton #24, Lebanon. We have just been informed she has been taken to Centennial for quadruple by-pass surgery. Possibly tomorrow. Tom, Kortney, Nancy, or I will update her progress here as we know more. PLEASE keep her and her family in your prayers.
