📢 Indiana Medicaid Update: Your Voices Have Been Heard — But Stay Vigilant!

There has been an important update regarding Indiana Medicaid denials and the potential loss of services. While this may provide some relief, now is not the time to stop paying attention.

If you or your family has been affected:

✅ Received a letter about losing services? Continue with the appeals process and follow the instructions and deadlines provided in your notice.

✅ Already in the appeals process? Continue following the guidance you have received and keep track of your case.

✅ Keep your records! Save every letter, email, notice, and other information you receive regarding your Medicaid coverage and services.

📣 Continue to share your story. Your experiences matter. Consider reaching out to your legislators and letting them know how changes to Medicaid services affect you and your family.

Stay informed. Stay engaged. Keep advocating. Your voice matters!

As of the week of Aug. 31, Indiana’s FSSA paused Medicaid waiver denials, determinations involving new assessments.
