🌟 Staff Spotlight: Hillary Frazier 🌟

Meet Hillary Frazier, Faculty Affairs Program Manager at the IU School of Nursing and IUSON Staff Governance Co-President!

Across the IU School of Nursing’s Indianapolis, Bloomington and Fort Wayne campuses, Hillary supports faculty affairs and governance while helping turn complex processes into clear, consistent and accessible resources.

She is especially passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for staff to share their perspectives, contribute ideas and help shape their workplace. Whether strengthening staff governance, developing new resources or creating additional ways for colleagues to connect and provide feedback, Hillary enjoys building systems that help others have a voice.

The IU Indianapolis Staff Council is hosting a Blood Drive on May 27 in the Campus Center, and we need your help reaching our goal of 26 donors!

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Here in Indiana, 550 donors are needed each day to keep up with the demand of local hospitals. Your one donation can help up to three Indiana patients in need.

Meet Amber Armstrong and Wendy Waldman!

For this edition of From the Desk, we’re spotlighting Amber and Wendy, Clinical Research Specialists with Indiana University School of Medicine in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department.

As Indiana NeuroResource Facilitators, Amber and Wendy provide vital support to Hoosiers who have experienced a brain injury, helping individuals and families navigate their journey with compassion, education, and meaningful connections to resources.

Their dedication to person-centered support, advocacy, and care makes a lasting difference across Indiana. Thank you, Amber and Wendy, for the incredible work you do!

The 9th Annual IU Indianapolis Staff Council Mini Conference took place yesterday, in the Campus Center, bringing staff together to power up skills, expand their networks, receive professional headshots and invest in staff members' growth.

We’re grateful for the great turnout, the meaningful presentations, and the generous donations to Paws Pantry. Thank you again to all who attended! We hope you left with valuable insights and new connections!

Meet Kaley Liang ✨

For this edition of From the Desk, we’re spotlighting Kaley, Assistant Director of the IU Indianapolis ECHO Center.

A colleague shared that Kaley brings kindness, patience, and incredible organization to everything she does. From mentoring teammates to supporting the work of the ECHO Center, Kaley’s dedication makes a lasting impact on everyone around her. She’s the kind of colleague and friend who can be both steady and fun, and her care for her work, family, friends, and community shines through in all she does.

And outside of work? Kaley is also a proud dog mom to her precious corgi, Ivy 🐾
