Meals On Wheels, Inc. - Indiana Do you, or someone you love, need weekday meals? Meals on Wheels is more than a home meal delivery service.

We educate, innovate and advocate for our vulnerable neighbors by delivering medically tailored, nourishing, and culturally appropriate food while promoting social connectedness. Meals on Wheels is the only provider of medically-tailored meals to Central Indiana’s homebound community. For a small fee, you can receive two medically-tailored meals each weekday on a short or long-term basis. These me

als are prepared by Central Indiana’s premier healthcare institutions and delivered by Meals on Wheels volunteers. The meals are prepared for the individual client to ensure good nutrition.

Last Thursday felt less like a fundraiser and more like a gathering of friends who care deeply about helping people in recovery.

At the Brick Street Inn, food, stories, impact, and generosity came together as we shared the heart behind the NO Limits to Recovery program. Guests heard firsthand about lives being changed, barriers being overcome, and the opportunities recovery creates when people have the right support system behind them.

It was an evening centered on relationships—we are grateful to everyone who joined us, shared in the conversation, and became part of the story.

Late last month, Barb Renshaw, Director of Development & Outreach, joined actors Patrick Duffy and Linda Purl at Kroger in Fishers. They were there to promote their sourdough bread company, which gives 100% of its proceeds to hunger relief organizations. Pictured together, they celebrated a shared commitment to helping fight hunger.

Meet our new summer interns — Alexis Nelson and Gillian Styers-Barnett!

Alexis and Gillian are seniors majoring in Communication at the University of Indianapolis, and both chose Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana (MOWCI) for their senior internship placement. We’re excited to spend the next 11–12 weeks working alongside them!

During their time at MOWCI, Alexis and Gillian will be connecting directly with clients across our programs through outreach and interviews. Their work will help capture the real stories behind our services and the impact they have on those we serve.

While we can talk about the importance of our work, the true impact of MOWCI is best told by the clients themselves. Their voices, experiences, and stories are what truly bring our mission to life — and Alexis and Gillian will help us share those stories with the community.

Please join us in welcoming Alexis and Gillian to the MOWCI team!
