ANY SCOTS-IRISH IN YOUR BACKGROUND?
Our longtime member and donor Barbara George keeps coming up with really great assets for us. This 700+page book on the Daniel Boone family she brought in for our library is a great resource if you have Ulster Scots who settled from south PA to north AL in the 1700's. Yay, Barb!!

RARE WARREN TOWNSHIP 1944 RESOURCE
As Barbara mentioned, there was no Warren Central High School yearbook during this war year. We appreciate Marlena Linne bringing in this class photo to scan, so we can fill in the 1944 gap.

WE LOVE VISITORS!
In addition to chatting with us and us learning new stuff, our visitors often come bearing gifts. Yesterday Patte Owings came in to do some volunteer data entry, and she also donated all of these Irvington Presbyterian Church materials. Talk about a win-win.

PRESENT FROM KOSCIUSKO COUNTY HIST. SOC.
We opened a letter the other day and it contained these three little Marion County artifacts. The back side shows they were formerly pasted in one of those black paper scrapbooks. Anyone have any info on them? Thanks, KCHS!

GREENLAWN BECOMING A POWER!
If the crowd attending the recent media event at the Eiteljorg Museum was any indicator, interest in the Greenlawn Cemetery is at an all time high. This is good, because the former Indianapolis City Cemetery has been ignored and neglected for way too long. Those of us in the genealogy community want the rest of the burials in the site to be removed and reinterred like they should have been a hundred years ago. Think "Marion County Pioneers!"
