🩵🖤 THIS WAS ALWAYS THE VISION 🖤🩵

A Starting Line 🩵
A Movement 🖤
A Family 🩵
A Safe Space 🖤

MTM XC always has been + always will be about MORE THAN new running shoes; PR paces; or individual accolades 🫡

MTM XC is a grassroots running collective — built upon a foundation of love; acceptance; and unwavering optimism + belief; where our Older Youth Runners — themselves — become Mentors + Role Models to our younger Runners 🥹🖤🩵🥹

The inimitable Brooke Lane captured these SPECIAL moments from last night’s on the run - an indianapolis running club Group Run — of our Older Youth Runners believing in + pushing themselves + others 🩵🖤

Thank you, Team MTM XC; for believing, for showing up, and for continuing to support, empower, and celebrate our Older Youth Runners 🫶🏽🩵🖤🫶🏽

This 🖤 Moving The Meter 🖤 Local Small Business Sponsorship Shoutout means a little MORE — on a personal level 🥹

Christi — “Coach” — THANK YOU — for believing in + buying into MTM XC; quite literally from DAY. ONE. 🥹

Christi Dee (Christi D. - Run Coach | Author ) is an accomplished runner and a phenomenal running coach + one-woman hype crew; but — somehow — an even better human 🖤

How do we@know?!

Because Coach Christi — proactively + unsolicitedly — reached out a few months back; with an idea to include MTM XC as the official nonprofit partner for the Prairie on Fire Preview Run (HUGE shoutout to TJ Dailey + Meshingomesia Track Club for also putting ten toes down for this idea!!! 🥹💪🏻🖤)

As a direct result of Christi D. - Run Coach | Author generosity + kind-heartedness + savvy + creative conceptualization; we raised ~$1,000.00 to support and empower our MTM XC Older Youth Runners!!! 🤩🙌🏻🤩

But, again, this is just ONE of MANY examples of Coach Christi moving for + cheering on + riding with others — toeing the line for good causes; for her TBR athletes; and for ALL in this wonderful local Running CommUNITY! 🖤

We love + appreciate you, Coach!

Let’s run!!!

THIS is why…

Christi D. - Run Coach | Author + TJ Dailey for conceptualizing an awesome “Preview Run” for Prairie on Fire … oh, and for proactively inviting More Than Miles XC to serve as the official charity partner for the event! 🥹🖤🥹

Thanks to these two creative, selfless, and giant-hearted humans; our Prairie Preview Crew donated nearly $1,000.00 to fuel our MTM XC Older Youth Runners to chase their limitless potentials 🥹

Coach Christi + TJ: THANK YOU — for believing in MTM XC (in the early days; and every day since!); for being bastions of community-building within our local Running universe; and for always, always, always thinking of others and putting your words and ideas into incredible actions that create lasting impacts 🥹🙏🏻🥹

We appreciate each + every Runner who officially and emphatically bought in + joined Team MTM XC yesterday:

Dr. Rob Bell 🖤
Rob Dee 🖤
Shawn Curran 🖤
Matt Mitchell 🖤
Aimee Ness 🖤
Physical Therapist and Run Coach 🖤
Luther Linville 🖤
Chris Shelley 🖤

marytheaverageathlete x Team Average Athlete for generously gifting MTM XC a HUGE batch of 🔥 Average Athlete Tees — “walking billboards” as Mary says 😎

Logan Turner x splitsrunco for selflessly donating a HAUL of 🤌🏻 Splits x MTM XC hats — America’s new favorite running cap! 🤩

Jon Kuhn for graciously offering his time and unmatched talents to collaborate with MTM XC; to shine a light on MTM XC’s Mission + work 📸

Jim — who has been a “Big” along with his Wife; for decades; who has seen — firsthand — the very real, very unique ability of Running to create safe spaces for Youth to share, to strive, and to succeed; and who has now enthusiastically joined the ranks of Team MTM XC Mentors Thru Movement 🥹

And to SO. MANY. OTHERS. who believe — unwaveringly — in what MTM XC is trying to build — a found-Running-family to surround our Older Youth Runners; to support, to encourage, and to empower them to sprint toward their dreams 💪🏻

As we were navigating the Prairie “Day Course” yesterday AM; Mary, Logan + I were chatting about how beautiful + lifelong connections are made amongst Runners; simply because of a Tee, a Hat, or a Good Cause — to us; that is deeply special

Let’s run 💪🏻🖤

HUGE shoutout to our most recent local small business sponsor 8th Day Distillery 🙏🏻🤩🙏🏻

(Check out some exciting upcoming community-oriented + family-friendly events; on 8th Day’s Insta! 💪🏻)

Matt + Jaime met our OY Runner, Destin (12) at the start-line of the Donut Dash 5k in March; and the couple’s warmth + kindness shined thru almost instantly — asking Destin thoughtful questions about his running + his life 🥹🖤

Uniquely kind folks; incomparably generous support for MTM XC 🙏🏻
