Men's Health Month is a reminder that taking care of your health isn't just about you. It's about the people who depend on you, love you, and want you here for years to come.

Too many men delay preventive care, ignore symptoms, or put their own well-being last while caring for others. Prioritizing your health is not a sign of weakness. It's an investment in your future.

Schedule your annual checkup
Know your blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar numbers
Prioritize movement and physical activity
Focus on mental and emotional well-being
Get enough sleep
Talk openly about your health concerns

Healthy men help build healthy families, healthy communities, and healthier futures. CWUW Believes in Healthy Families!

Your health matters. Your family needs you. Take care of yourself today.

“Take a look, it’s in a book…”

Our YWAC cohort is currently reading Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall and Women, Race & Class by Angela Davis. These stories invite deeper dialogue around identity, advocacy, access, community building, and the systems that impact women’s mental health and overall well-being. Mental health awareness doesn’t end in May and neither does the work of learning, reflecting, and caring for ourselves and one another. 💜

CWUW Flashback: Miss Mary's Wellness Garden: 2010-2017, CWUW created and managed a wonderful wellness space, including a wellness path, a meditation platform, 10 beds, and more! We worked with the neighbors in providing gardening education and other community organizations that brought their students, participants, etc. to help develop the space.

We loved this space and were so proud of our work at Miss Mary's.
