Hounds For Heroes

Thank you to our lead trainer and co-founder, Jake Skillett, for sitting down with Brandi for House District 42 and sharing the work that we as well as Mission K9 Warrior are doing to help end the struggle for our nation's heroes.

Jake leads an incredible facility where our dogs are trained in the most effective ways to assist the hero they are paired with. We could not do this without him and the VonBernd team. ❤ 🐾

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001 🇺🇸, and honor the bravery of the first responders who answered the call when our nation needed them most.

As we remember 9/11, we honor those who put their lives on the line and the countless heroes who have continued serving their communities ever since. Many first responders and veterans face the lasting effects of trauma long after the emergency ends. That's where Hounds for Heroes steps in, providing highly trained service dogs at no cost to veterans and first responders living with PTSD, helping them regain confidence, independence, and hope.

As we honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11, please consider a gift of $25 to support the heroes who continue to carry its impact.
